1. Acceptance of the Terms
Accessing the Norwygo platform, creating an account or using any of its features constitutes your acceptance of these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, you must not use the service.
2. About the Platform
Norwygo is an online marketplace that connects users with independent consultants. The platform is not a law firm, accounting firm, immigration office or financial advisory company and does not provide professional advice in its own name. All consultations are provided by independent consultants who act on their own responsibility.
3. Roles of the Parties
The user (client) uses the platform to search for consultants, book consultations and receive services. The consultant (guide or expert) offers services through the platform as an independent contractor and is solely responsible for the content and quality of the consultations. Norwygo provides the technical infrastructure for search, booking and payments but does not interfere with the substance of consultations and is not responsible for decisions made on the basis of such consultations.
4. Bookings and Payments
Consultations are booked through the platform interface. Payments are processed via secure payment providers such as Stripe, Vipps or others listed on the website. Cancellation and refund conditions may depend on the individual consultant’s policy and on the general policy of the platform. In the event of a late arrival or no-show by the client, the consultation may be considered completed and the payment may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the applicable cancellation policy.
5. Responsibility of Consultants
Consultants must provide their services in good faith, professionally and in accordance with applicable Norwegian law. Each consultant is solely responsible for the information they provide and for the consequences of the advice and solutions offered to the client. The platform may request documents confirming the consultant’s identity, qualifications or experience, but such verification does not guarantee the outcome of any consultation.
6. Responsibility of Users
Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information, refrain from using the platform for fraud, abuse or unlawful activity and treat consultants and other users with respect. Users make final decisions based on consultations and bear full responsibility for their actions, including the submission of documents to public authorities.
7. Limitation of Liability of the Platform
Norwygo does not guarantee any specific outcome. Norwygo is not liable for errors, inaccuracies or omissions in consultants’ advice, nor for any direct or indirect losses, loss of income, reputational damage or other consequences related to the use of the service, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
8. User Content
Users may upload descriptions of their situation, documents and other materials necessary for the provision of services. By submitting such content, you confirm that you have the right to use it, that it does not infringe the rights of third parties and that you do not share confidential information about third parties without proper consent. You also agree that the platform and consultants may view such content solely for the purpose of providing services.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
The processing of personal data is governed by a separate Privacy Policy and is carried out in accordance with GDPR and applicable Norwegian law. By using the platform, you agree to the processing of personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual Property
All elements of the Norwygo platform, including design, logos, text, illustrations, user interface and source code, are protected by intellectual property rights. You may not copy, modify, distribute or use materials of the platform for commercial purposes without prior written consent of the rights holders.
11. Prohibited Activities
You are not allowed to use the platform for illegal purposes, to post offensive, discriminatory or hateful content, to impersonate another person, to access or attempt to access the system without authorization or to collect data about other users without their consent.
12. Suspension and Moderation
Norwygo reserves the right to temporarily restrict access, suspend or delete a user or consultant account, cancel bookings or hide a profile in case of violation of these Terms, suspicion of fraud, abuse of the system or behaviour that may harm the platform, other users or the reputation of the service.
13. Changes to the Terms
The platform may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The updated version becomes effective from the moment it is published on the website or from the date specified in the text. Continued use of the platform after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Norway. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall attempt to resolve it amicably. If an amicable solution is not possible, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Norway.
15. Professional Disclaimer
Norwygo is not a law firm, tax advisor, financial advisor or immigration office and does not provide professional advice in its own name. All consultations are provided by independent consultants. You remain solely responsible for decisions you make based on information provided. Where necessary, you should seek additional advice from a qualified lawyer, accountant or other authorized professional.
16. Notifications and Electronic Communications
By using the platform, you consent to receive technical and service-related communications such as booking confirmations, consultation reminders, schedule changes, payment status updates and important service notices. Marketing emails (newsletters, special offers) are sent only if you have given separate consent, and you may unsubscribe at any time.
17. Consultant’s Compliance with Law
Consultants are required to provide recommendations in accordance with applicable Norwegian law and, where relevant, other applicable jurisdictions. Consultants must not advise users to conceal information, submit false data to public authorities or engage in actions designed to circumvent legal requirements. The platform reserves the right to discontinue cooperation with consultants who breach these principles.
18. Verification and Moderation of Consultants
Norwygo may carry out basic verification of consultant profiles, including requesting documents confirming identity, education or experience. The platform may temporarily restrict access, suspend a profile or reject an application if there are doubts about the accuracy of the information provided or if these Terms are breached.
